Who are 'Bots For That'?

Bots For That, the leaders in accounting automation, is a company dedicated to helping accountants tackle the manual, mundane tasks they have to face on the daily. How do we do this? Through automation. We use Bots & AI to create automatic processes that can complete tasks efficiently, accurately, and at any time.

The company was formed by an ex accountant, so we understand those tedious tasks accountants have to sit through. We have the knowledge to fix the problems they cause. We appreciate that time is precious, and a lot of people waste that time sitting clicking buttons, amongst other dull activities they wish they didn’t have to do.

How Do We Work?

As mentioned above, our aim is to help accountants remove the menial, mundane work out of their lives. In Xero’s recent tax report, they stated that, ‘55% of accountants suffered from stress and burnout, 87% citing heavy workloads as the reason.’ We don’t want accountants to have to suffer from overexertion due to ridiculous work loads. Enter Bots, our solution to reducing levels of burnout in the industry. 

We are constantly planning and producing new off-the-shelf Bots to help out. Some of the Bots we currently have available are; our Bank Reconciliation Bot, Reporting Bot, Push and Notify Bot, and our upcoming Paycircle Bot. We also do bespoke Bots. These are custom Bots that are created to your requirements. If you can think of something that needs automating, we can do it!

 

The process

Getting a Bot up and running begins with a consultation with a member of our team. This way we can reach an understanding of what it is you are looking for with Bots. From there, we move onto the trial stage. This is where you get to try out a Bot for a week – for free! We prefer a hands on approach. It’s all well and good saying things about a product, but we want to show you what you could achieve with the implementation of a Bot. After the trial, if you are happy with the product, you can take ownership of the Bot and begin using it across your practice. We work as a subscription, charging monthly payment for the use of the Bot. 

Don’t worry, we won’t just give you the Bot and leave you hanging! We have an onboarding process to help you along each step of the way, to make sure you get the best use out of your Bot. 

For Bespoke Bots, the process is similar. After the consultation, we will begin to create and test your personal Bot to make sure it’s achieving it’s tasks. Once the Bot passes the necessary tests, we will hand over the Bot to you. Again, we will be on the journey with you to make sure you attain optimum usage of the product.

Once onboarded, you can run your Bot when you want, from where you want. Say goodbye to repetitive, manual work, and hello to the freedom of doing the work and activities that you want to do.

They are accurate in all they do. Unlike a person, they don’t make mistakes. They work efficiently, and up to 10 times faster than a person would be completing the same task. They don’t take holiday or sick days. Plus, they work at whatever time you set them to, whether that’s 5am or 11pm – our Bots are there for you!

Bots are cheaper than outsourcing, or finding new hires. They tackle the problems of trying to find a new hire, which is a lot like finding a needle in a haystack. We’re not saying to get rid of people – absolutely not – having people in accounting is crucial. We’re saying that using Bots for the boring, brain rotting tasks, gives people the opportunity to work in higher positions, to interact with clients more, and have an overall improved mental health. Referring back to the Xero tax report, they mentioned that only 75% of people feel satisfied in their job. 75% may seem high, but take a moment to think that 1/4 of people working in the accounting sector are dissatisfied in their job. That’s a huge chunk of people! With Bots being used in practices, we believe that job satisfaction levels would skyrocket.

How We Help The Environment

Sustainability is a big driver for us at Bots For That. It’s important that we take the time to look after our home, we don’t have another one (as much as Elon Musk declares Mars to be our replacement, an endless land of red rock isn’t my dream living destination!). We are partnered with an organisation called Ecologi, you can find their site here.

For each new client we gain, we support an environmental project via Ecologi. For example, we fund the planting of trees across the world. They then document the trees so we can watch them grow, rejuvenating areas where trees once were. To have a further look at the projects we fund, take a look here.

Whilst we make a conscious effort to help our environment, bots themselves are another form of environmental saviour. With Bots being completely digital, they save the pollution generated from someone commuting to the office. They also save paper from being used which helps the trees, and they can help business create a more efficient, sustainable model.

Summary

One of our tag lines is ‘People-Profit-Planet’. These are the three focuses of our business, 1) giving people a chance to save time and focus on the big stuff, 2) helping those people maximise their profit, and 3) saving our planet as we do so.
