The team at Bots For That are no strangers to solving old sticky issues that nobody or nothing else has been able to fix, and this latest use case from Countrywide was a perfect candidate for Bots.
In addition to fixing the known issues of manually processing survey results and uploading documents, the Bot also needed to incorporate very specific user-requirements for full adoption to be guaranteed. The Bots For Thatteam offered to go one step further though, and suggested ways to optimise the process whilst automating to ensure a more responsive customer service was possible.
A final guiding principle for the solution was the need to establish and deliver automated key performance indicators which Countrywide was measured against, and these helped to inform how the automation would be developed and supported, including the business critical continuity plans once live.
Unlike some automation projects, the benefits and return on investment (ROI) for the Bot solution was not driven by headcount savings, but instead by the time freed up for busy, highly mobile, surveyors who were desperately trying to complete property surveys and reduce valuable time lost on the administrative tasks associated with it.
The Bots helped the huge number of surveyors to increase their income generating activities and eliminate the manual repetitive tasks to update records and attach key documentation. This in turn accelerated the property buying and selling process for their end customers.
